A Stream in the Garden

A stream runs through the grounds in Taguchi where the four log houses stand. In summer, relax to the sound of the water, and at night, drift off to the murmur of the stream. The ski resort is about 3 minutes away by car.

LOG HOUSE

Timber Log Houses

Log houses built from stacked logs, filled with the scent of timber. Houses with a wooden deck let you enjoy a BBQ under cover.

Dogs and Wood-Fired Saunas

Dogs are welcome at all four houses. GreenBell 2 and 3 have wood-fired saunas — cool off in the stream in summer or in the snow in winter. Tent saunas can also be rented at 1 and 4.

ACCESS

Location

Taguchi, Myoko City, Niigata Prefecture. About 3 minutes by car to Akakura Onsen Ski Resort, about 8 minutes by car from Myoko-Kogen Station, and about 7 minutes by car from Myoko-Kogen IC.

In winter (around December 15 – March 31), a 4WD vehicle fitted with studless (winter) tires is essential.

From Tokyo (Hokuriku Shinkansen, change at Joetsumyoko Station): Approx. 2 hr 20 min + drive
From Tokyo (by car via the Joshin-etsu Expressway, Myoko-Kogen IC): Approx. 3 hr
Akakura Onsen Ski Resort: About 3 min by car

FAQ

Booking on our official site costs about 10% less than on other booking sites (best rate guarantee).

Dogs are welcome at all four houses (dogs only; a signed agreement is required).

The wood-fired saunas at GreenBell 2 and 3 do not need to be booked. Tent sauna rental at GreenBell 1 and 4 is a paid option and must be booked in advance.

Please come in a 4WD vehicle fitted with studless (winter) tires (2WD vehicles cannot make it, even SUVs or cars fitted with chains). On-site parking is not available in winter, so please park at a nearby paid car park and we will take you to the property by shuttle bus.
