By Car

Chuo Expressway → Nagano Expressway → Joshin-etsu Expressway
About 3–10 min from Myoko-Kogen IC to each property

The nearest interchange is Myoko-Kogen IC on the Joshin-etsu Expressway. In winter, a 4WD vehicle with studless (winter) tires is required (2WD vehicles cannot be used, even SUVs or cars fitted with chains). Parking is free. In winter, only some properties have on-site parking; for the others, we provide a shuttle bus from a nearby parking lot. For details, see our FAQ .

▲ On the same snowy slope, a 2WD can’t make it up while a 4WD can — the drive system makes all the difference (Source: Burns Garages LTD). The roads in our area are also steep, so we cannot accept guests arriving in 2WD vehicles.

By Train

Take the Hokuriku Shinkansen to Joetsumyoko Station,
then take the Echigo TOKImeki Railway to Myoko-Kogen Station (about 2 hr 20 min from Tokyo)

■ From Myoko-Kogen Station to each property

About 8–10 min by car or taxi.
You can also take the Akakura Line bus to the Akakura area.
